1. What is call-by-call?
The call-by-call system is one of the most popular ways  to call through another telephone company other than Movistar (earlier Telefonica). It is necessary to dial a special number before calling the number you require, your call will be charged by an alternative provider.  The only criteria is having a landline of Movistar.

2. What is preselection?
In case of preselection you don’t have to dial the extra number before calling your required number  because this number of ITC is programmed in the Movistar PC and all your calls go through your ITC provider.

3. What advantages do I have by using ITC services?
Our clients can (in comparison to other providers) save up to 75% of phone costs. Calls from landline to mobile phone , depending on your habits, can cost 35% less.

4. What requirements do I need to be  able to use ITC services?
You only need a landline and a call number by Movistar/Telefonica.

5. How are my data protected?
Our clients will be informed according to the Ley Organica de Proteccion de Datos de Caracter Pesonal and the Ley de Servicios de la Sociedad de la Information y Comercio Electronico 34/2002 July 11th that with  a contract to ITC, the clients’ data, name, address etc. will be stored in electronical form for an eventual change of the contract. According to Organica de §5 of Ley Organica de Protecccion de Datos (see above) all the collected data we’ll be used and stored. As far as the client doesn’t  protest in 30 days against it, his/her data will be used for advising and commercial purposes, for market research, for our and other services and to make our services match your needs.

6. Does my call number change when registering to ITC?
No, you keep your number.

7. Do I have any change of my phone-line installation?
No, there is no change in installation. Your line remains at Movistar.

8. How much does registering cost?
The registration to ITC is free of charge.

9. How long does it take to register to ITC?
Max. 2 days, preselection: 10-14 days.

10. Do I have to reach a monthly minimum turnover?
No, minimum turnover is required.

11. What is the length of my contract?
CALL-BY-CALL SERVICE /PRESELECTION/FLATRATES:
We don’t commit our clients to long-lasting contracts. All contracts to the above products will be made for unlimited time und can be cancelled in a period of 4 weeks, at the end of the month. The cancellation must be made in writing.

The exception is our ADSL with a speed up to 3 MB and free time and volume download.  The minimum contract period with this is 12 months.  Cancellation earlier than 12 months will be subject to a checkout fee of  €60.

12. Can I combine ITC services with other providers?
Yes, however you can use the automatically selected number (preselection) only by one provider, but the different pre-call numbers of other providers can be used as you like.

13. Temporary break.
In case you leave Spain for some time you can put your Micro-Mini-and Basic-Flatrate out of operation. This is possible at the end of a month. You save your flatrate monthly fees  when you are not in Spain. This cancellation is free of charge, we ask you to inform us in a written form, per post, fax or email.

14. Are there fees charged for dialling or connecting by ITC?
ITC doesn’t charge any dialling or connecting fees for landline calls and for calls from landline to mobile which is usually charged by other Spanish companies.

15. What is the basic unit charge?
The ITC credits in seconds, that is your call will be charged in seconds exactly.

16. How can I call with ITC?

If you have call-by-call service, you dial:
National: 1054+9xxxxx
National mobile: 1054+6xxxxxx
International: 1054+country code+city code
International mobile: 1054+country code+city code+mobile number

17. Can my preselection number get lost?
Yes, preselection numbers can get lost through data changes, moving home, change of name or using other providers etc. Our clients have to inform us about any changes to enable us to act quickly and get their preselection number back as soon as possible. It is a temporary solution to use the preselection number 1054 dialled manually until your preselection number will be confirmed by Telefonica/Movistar.  ITC is not liable for any charges by  Telefonica.

18. Has ITC-Telephone-Service any impact on my internet access?
No, your internet access  (ADSL) remains the same, ITC telephone services are for outbound calls and is independent from your ADSL. The ADSL fees are paid to Telefonica as it is now.

19. Can I call though ITC service  hotline numbers (like 90x or 80x)?
Yes, you can call these hotline numbers though our service.  However  these numbers are usually charged by Movistar (under consumo: avanzados novecientos).

20. Do I get a separate bill?
Yes, you get a monthly bill where you can see all your calls charged by  seconds. The bill can be seen online with a client log in, or you can get it per email or per post (0.50 cents per bill). You can create your log in on our website or you can apply for it by telephone.

21. How can I pay my ITC bills?
Your bill will be monthly  debited from your account.

22. When will my account be debited?
Your account will be debited in the first 3 days of the following month.

23. Do I have the right  of a service by a technician?
Of course you have the possibility to make use of a technician  service by Movistar as you pay your fee for using your telephone lines, landline, to movistar. That is independent from your calls though ITC, you keep your line-service at Telefonica/Movistar.

24. How can I cancel my existing contract or tariffs at Telefonica?
You can cancel it anytime calling the service number of 1004 Telefonica/Movistar

25. How can I cancel my present provider?
Depending on provider you can cancel per telephone or in written form. Writing an email or sending a fax is the better way. If you wish you can have our form to fill in and send to your present provider. Your provider should confirm the date of your cancellation. In case you have a preselection at your present provider and you want to apply for a preselection at ITC, your preselection number will be replaced by our number. If you  have a preselection dialling manually and you stop dialling, it will be automatically cancelled. Nevertheless it is important to make sure that your present provider cancels all its services to prevent misunderstanding.
